Pacemaker-Stoppingly Awesome! (Instrumental Version) ~ 2008

This demo was recorded for a CD packaging project for school. Actually recording a CD was optional (the project focused on proper package layout, complete information, etc) but the brothers took the opportunity to lay down their first ever tracks in a tangible format. Since there was not enough time to find a vocalist and drummer, this demo only features Wig and Gahm on guitar and bass respectively. Since Wig and Gahm plan on re-using "Pacemaker-Stoppingly Awesome!" for their full-band demo, we named this version "Pacemaker-Stoppingly Awesome! (Instrumental Version)."
The album was recorded and mixed by Gerry Stafford and Maria Lena. Cover art was designed by Danielle Cioffi.

Track Listing

1)Pak-Ataq
Written by Wig and Gahmstead Fitzpatrick.
Lyrics

2)Theme from Metroid
Video game music is one of Umbilical Cord's specialties as seen with this cover from the pivotal 1987 Nintendo game. Written by Hip Tanaka and arranged for guitar and bass by Wig and Gahmstead Fitzpatrick.

3)Paranoid (Acoustic Instrumental Version)
This version is acoustic because there were technical difficulties with Gahmstead's electric bass during the first recording session. Not wanting to waste time, they proceeded with recording on acoustic instruments. This is the only recording they kept from that session.
Written by J. Osbourne, T. Iommi, T. Butler and B. Ward.

4)String Theory
Written by Wig and Gahmstead Fitzpatrick.
